Marlborough Hills, a 196 bed
JCAHO accredited skilled nursing facility, is currently seeking
a full-time Unit Manager to join our team. This opportunity is
Monday thru Friday.
Job duties include but are
not limited to:
- Ensures employees receive compliance
training and education as necessary.
- Participates in resident care
conferences and maintains updated care plans.
- Manages nursing unit which includes
planning daily and/or weekly work assignments, breaks and ensures
adequate staffing on unit at all times.
- Maintains documentation as required
by law and state nursing practice act.
- Communicates with the pharmacy
and lab on pertinent issues.
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) degree
with current license by the State of Massachusetts.
- CPR certification.
- Current state registration to
practice.
- Knowledge of geronotological
nursing and principles of nursing supervision.
- Ability to work under stress
and in emergency situations.
- Must possess extensive knowledge
of MDS process and PPS requirements.
- Four (4) years or more sub-acute/long
term care experience.
